Message from the Chairman
On behalf of STEP Foundation, I begin by expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah and extend my sincere appreciation to our partners, donors, and well-wishers for their continued trust and support. Guided by the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, STEP Foundation remains committed to serving humanity through compassion, justice, and moral responsibility.
Alongside its development initiatives, STEP Foundation places strong emphasis on religious and ethical activities. These include Islamic moral and character-building education, Qur’an-based awareness programs, organized management of Zakat, Fitrah, and Sadaqah, the operation and support of orphanage and orphan care programs, free food arrangements and community feeding initiatives for the poor and needy, special humanitarian assistance during Ramadan and Qurbani seasons, support for widows and vulnerable families, mosque- and madrasa-based community welfare initiatives, and faith-guided programs that promote peace, brotherhood, and social harmony.
We firmly believe that development rooted in faith (Iman), righteousness (Taqwa), and ethical values leads to sustainable and meaningful social transformation. Upholding the principle that serving humanity is a form of worship, STEP Foundation remains dedicated to working for the pleasure of Allah and the betterment of society.

Introduction
STEP Foundation – (Social Transformation and Ethical Program) is a faith-inspired, non-profit, non-political, and humanitarian development organization dedicated to serving humanity through ethical values, social justice, and compassion. Guided by universal moral principles rooted in Islamic teachings—such as honesty (Amanah), justice (Adl), excellence (Ihsan), mercy (Rahmah), and service to humanity (Khidmah)—STEP Foundation works to promote holistic development among disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
The Foundation believes that sustainable development and lasting social change can only be achieved when economic progress is integrated with moral guidance, spiritual awareness, and ethical responsibility. Through education, technical and vocational skills development, orphan care, humanitarian assistance, free food distribution, and values-based community programs, STEP Foundation strives to create a just, peaceful, and self-reliant society while upholding human dignity and social harmony for all.
Background and Rationale
STEP FOUNDATION was established to address the persistent challenges of poverty, food insecurity, limited access to education, unemployment, and social vulnerability, particularly affecting coastal and disaster-prone communities of Bangladesh. Recognizing the interconnected nature of humanitarian needs and long-term development, the organization adopts an integrated approach combining education, Islamic social finance, humanitarian response, and livelihood development.
The Foundation places special emphasis on poor households, orphans, women, youth, and marginalized groups, ensuring inclusive and equitable access to services.
